Lotto: Whangārei player wins $1 million, 10 others claim $27,000 - where winning tickets were sold

A lucky Whangārei Lotto player will be pinching themselves after winning $1 million with First Division on Saturday night.  

The winning ticket was on MyLotto to a player from Whangārei. 

The winning numbers were 6, 13, 16, 35, 36 and 38. The bonus ball was 7 and powerball was 3. 

Powerball was not struck on Saturday and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $10 million. Strike Four has also rolled over and will be $500,000 on Wednesday night. 

Meanwhile, 10 lucky Lotto players will be over the moon after each winning $27,947 with Second Division. 

The winning Second Division tickets were sold at stores in Auckland, Papakura, Pukekohe, Waikato, Rotorua, Tokoroa, Gisborne, Horowhenua, Carterton and Cromwell.

"Anyone who bought their ticket on MyLotto should check their ticket as soon as possible on MyLotto, or through the MyLotto App," a Lotto NZ spokesperson said.
