More than 100 Lotto players across the motu will be ecstatic after each winning nearly $10,000 in Lotto's Wednesday night Strike draw.

It was a Must Be Won draw, however no single ticket won the First Division prize of $1 million, so it rolled down to Second Division.

That means a total of 109 players will take home an equal share of the $1m jackpot, each receiving $9935.

It comes hot off the heels of 24 lucky players each winning $16,948 in Saturday night's draw.

And also last week, a casual player in Tāhuna/Queenstown found out they'd pocketed $1m after scooping up the First Division prize.

"I started to wonder how many zeros are in a million and had to count them a few times, just to be sure," the person said.
