Lotto player wakes up $1 million richer, 14 others claim $23,443 – where the winning tickets were sold

An Otago Lotto player has woken up $1 million richer after winning Lotto’s First Division in Saturday’s live draw.

The winner, from Queenstown-Lakes purchased their ticket on the MyLotto app. 

Powerball wasn’t struck and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $15m.

Strike Four has also rolled over, and will be $400,000 on Wednesday night 

Meanwhile, 14 lucky Lotto players will be jumping up and down after each winning $23,443 with Lotto Second Division in Saturday’s live draw.  

The means the winners are sharing a total of $328,202 between each other.

One of the lucky players also won Powerball Second Division - taking their total winnings to $45,595. 

The winning Powerball Second Division ticket was sold at Shree Superette in Auckland. The winning Second Division tickets were sold at the following stores:

Anyone who bought their ticket from MyLotto is urged to check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto, or through the MyLotto App.   

There are 75 extra prizes of $10,000 cash up for grabs with Lotto’s Mother's Day promotion. All Triple Dip tickets purchased between Sunday 28 April and 7:30pm on Saturday 18 May will be in the draw to win.
