The man who died in an Auckland apartment fire yesterday has been named.
He was 57-year-old Peter Vincent David Harrison. A postmortem revealed he died as a result of the fire.
Mr Harrison's body was found in a ground-floor bedroom of a three-level apartment block on Queens Rd in Panmure yesterday afternoon. CPR was performed without success.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
