Auckland has been hammered by heavy winds and rain overnight, but there's been little damage.
A severe weather watch was in place, with Civil Defence warning about the possibility of surface flooding in low-lying areas.
But northern fire communications shift manager Scott Osmond says the city was relatively unscathed, with only a few weather related incidents.
"Very few due to the weather – probably only about 10, mostly involving trees down in various areas."
Firefighters were called to a property in Orakei where a bank subsided underneath a house.
