A motorcyclist has been critically injured and is being treated after crashing into a car in Auckland this afternoon.
The collision occurred at the intersection of Porchester Rd and Popes Rd in Takanini around 1:52pm.
The rider is being treated at Middlemore Hospital.
The Serious Crash Unit is still there and diversions are in place.
The road is likely to be closed until 7:30pm.
