Young road patrollers have been recognised during a march through Wellington this morning when a wave of orange flooded through the capital's streets.
Around 1300 children marched in the annual Orange Day celebration, organised by Wellington City Council and police to thank volunteers for their work.
The student volunteers help more than 30,000 children get to and from school every day in the region.
