Police are looking for a woman missing from the Ranui area of Auckland since yesterday evening.
They say they have concerns for the safety of the 74-year-old woman, who suffers from dementia.
Police search and rescue staff searched the Ranui area until bout 3:30am last night and say they will resume their search this morning.
The woman is described as caucasian, with short, straight grey hair and wearing glasses.
Police say she is possibly wearing a blue or maroon sweatshirt and grey trousers.
