One man has suffered serious injuries after a car collision in Northland this afternoon.
Police say it appears the injured man was working underneath a car when it was hit by another car on George St in Hikurangi around 1.20pm.
The man has been taken to Northland Base Hospital.
George St is closed and diversions are in place.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
