One person has died after a fatal crash in Southland overnight.
The incident on the Dipton Winton Highway occurred around 11:45pm, and a 24-year-old male victim died at the scene.
He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
The Serious Crash Unit attended the scene and an investigation is underway.
