Police want to hear from anyone with information about a trio of fires lit on the Mt Victoria green belt last week.
Last Thursday evening a fire was lit near the badminton hall on Ruahine St.
Two more fires were started the next morning just off the Mt Victoria walking tracks from Alexandra Rd to Pirie St, around 500m north of the SPCA.
The fires caused minor damage but were put out quickly the Fire Service was called quickly.
Anyone with information about the fires, or who spoke to fire officers last Friday, is urged to contact Constable Chris Muir on (04) 381 2000.
