Auckland University of Technology students will not have to wait to receive their final assessment grades as the Tertiary Education Union elected to end their industrial action.

TEU members ended their strike action where they temporarily withheld assessment grades for entry into the university's database after AUT increased its pay offer.

Under a proposed collective agreement, academic staff will receive a 1.6 percent pay rise in the first year and 2 per cent in the second year.

The conditions will be presented to TEU members at AUT on Monday.
