Two men have been charged with murder following the death of a 33-year-old man at a south Auckland boarding house in July of this year.
Tauailapalapa Mati died as a result of the incident in Otahuhu on July 18. A 24-year-old man and a 26-year-old man have now been charged with his murder.
The 26-year-old man was initially charged with serious assault, but has since been upgraded.
