Girl Guides adapting with new generation

Almost 1500 Girl Guides have swarmed into Christchurch to sleep under the stars at one of the biggest girls-only camps.

But there's a resurgence of the brand that's been around since 1923.

According to the organisation, Girl Guides is as popular as ever, but from this year it's changing the way it operates.

It's all about leadership and adapting with a new generation of females becoming involved in decision making.
