Police have arrested a 28-year-old man in relation to an incident in Dunedin in the early hours of today.
The man is due to appear in Dunedin District Court tomorrow charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
A 38-year-old was admitted to hospital with serious injuries as a result of the incident which happened on Melville St.
