Have you ever fancied having a spaceship in your living room?
Lamp-artist Andrew has been busy at his craft for 25 years, but only recently decided to start taking them out of this world.
"There's no limit to where you can go if you're making spaceships, because no one can say to you, 'that's not a spaceship', because who knows a spaceship looks like?" he says.
Each lamp takes around three weeks to build, made from pieces found in scrap yards.
Where other people see junk, he sees spaceships.
Palace's lamps are on display in Auckland's Ponsonby Central until January 30.
