A 50-year-old woman has been charged after she pinned another woman against a tree with her car on the North Shore yesterday.
The incident unfolded on Salisbury Rd, Birkdale around 4:15pm.
Witnesses told police two women had a confrontation, after which one got in a vehicle and drove into the second woman.
The victim is a 55-year-old woman, and she remains in Auckland Hospital with leg injuries.
The offender will appear before the North Shore District Court tomorrow, charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
