Police have launched a homicide inquiry after a man's body was found at a Northland property this evening.
Police were called to the Church Road address in Ngararatunua, north of Whangarei around 6:30pm today.
Cordons were placed at each end of the road and the Armed Offenders Squad was called.
A man's been taken into custody without incident and is currently helping police with their inquiries.
