Police are asking the public for information as they investigate a shooting in south Auckland that injured three people early yesterday.

Officers were called at around 4:30am after reports of shots being fired in Mangere.

The injured people were aged 24, 22 and 16. None of their injuries were life-threatening.

Police said yesterday they weren’t having much luck speaking to people who were part of a group of around 40 people gathered at the reserve on Yates Rd where the shooting happened, so they’re asking for anyone who has information to get in touch.

If you can help, you can contact the police on (09) 2611 300 or you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. You can also send a personal message to Counties Manukau police on Facebook.
