Fisherman finally claim $48,000 prize

Last night we brought you the story about the four fishermen who caught a whopping great marlin in a fishing competition in the Hawke's Bay.

But it soon turned into a controversy when one of the fishermen failed a lie detector test, so they couldn't claim the prize.

Event promoter David Baty wasn't willing to take the men at their word, and he wasn't going to hand over the $48,000 ute.

But a major update will see the men finally be awarded their prize and Story was with them in Napier as the keys were finally handed over.
