Cars ablaze after Southland crash, no injuries

Emergency services have attended the scene of a serious crash in Lorneville, Invercargill, in which two vehicles have burst into flames.

Fortunately nobody was seriously injured in the incident, which police say was a result of a high-speed vehicle colliding with another vehicle.

Police responded to the scene around 12:10am and say a lamppost had also been struck, knocking out lighting in the area until further notice.
