Man robs Whangarei Domino's with knife

Police are investigating the circumstances that surround an aggravated robbery at a pizza store in Whangarei last night.

A man entered Domino's Pizza on Water St at around 10pm wielding a knife, threatening an employee, and making off with some cash.

The man who was working in the store received some superficial cuts during the event's unfolding, from the thief's knife.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the robbery, or who saw anything suspicious in the area between 9:45pm and 10:15 pm.
