To celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday, New Zealand Post is releasing a series of special stamps and a limited edition silver coin.

The stamps are 'lenticular', or moving, and feature nine different images of the Queen throughout her life on just three stamps.

"We wanted to produce something different for this very special 90th birthday. Queen Elizabeth II is the first British Monarch to reach this impressive milestone, and the stamps and coins are a beautiful keepsake for the occasion," says Simon Allison, New Zealand Post Head of Stamps and Coins.

To see the different images you need to tilt the stamps to watch the images change, from the Queen's christening in 1926 right through to her attending Anzac Day Centenary commemorations in London in 2015.

On the coin, The Duke and Duchess of York (later King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother) are pictured with her as she sleeps in her christening robe.

The stamps and coin will be available from May 4.
