Papakura laundromat gutted by blaze

A fire has torn through a laundromat in Auckland, blasting out its windows and gutting its interior.

Five fire trucks attended the blaze at Papakura Laundries on O'Shannessey St tonight.

Flames engulfed the building, and adjoining shops on the single-story block have been damaged by smoke. 

Firefighters have contained the blaze, and are working to establish the cause.
