A Lyttleton bar is up for sale after its lease ran out, and it's being advertised as a potential bach.
The Porthole, an iconic bar created in shipping containers after the 2011 Christchurch quake, is being advertised on Trade Me as "ideal for a bach or bar that is all set up and ready to go".

The building is made of three 6m containers and a "lot of material recycled from buildings lost in the earthquake".
The internal space is 92.5 sqm, and it could all be available for removal after May 22.
The bar has had three total bids, with the current bid on $10,100. It closes at 8:30pm tonight.
