Man pulls gun on neighbours in Christchurch

It was neighbours at war last night in Christchurch, when a man turned up to his neighbour's party with a gun.

Police were called to an address on Yarmouth St around 10:45pm after a neighbour pulled a firearm on the occupants. They were having a loud party at the time and wouldn't turn down the music, police say.

Armed police attended and a 42-year-old man was arrested.  He is facing, among others, firearms charges and will appear in the Christchurch District Court on Wednesday.
