Police have confirmed they found a body inside a Milton house after it caught on fire early this morning. The fire, which started about 3:30am severely damaged the house, located about 55km southwest of Dunedin City. A scene and fire examination is continuing and a cordon remains in place around the property. The name of the body will not be released until a formal identification has been completed and the person's family has been notified. The cause of the fire is still unknown. Newshub.
