When Jake Bailey gave his incredibly brave and moving speech to Christchurch Boys' High School at the end of last year, only days after being diagnosed with cancer, his battle was only beginning.
Now, the former student who moved the internet to tears has done it again -- but this time, he's in remission.
Speaking at an event in Australia aimed at raising funds for cancer research, Mr Bailey speaks about the 50 day isolation he spent in a hospital ward dealing with chemotherapy and the side effects that come with fighting the deadly disease.
He also mentions learning how to take each day at a time, and the beauty of waking up at home rather than in a hospital.
