Two men in tracksuit pants have robbed a bar in Hasting this morning armed with a weapon.
The men entered Zabeels Bar on King St and demanded to be given cash, which they then left with.
Staff and customers were shaken by the incident but no one was injured.
The robbers left the bar in an older style red four-door vehicle and sped along King St toward Aubyns St shortly after 9:30am.
One of the men is described as having a solid build, is about 182cm tall and was wearing a maroon hoody with a circular pattern on the front. He was also wearing black and navy track suit pants with a white stripe and skate shoes.
The other is described as Maori and was wearing a black cap, sunglasses, a black jacket and track suit pants.
