Hamilton police have found a body in the Waikato River.
The body was recovered on Sunday afternoon.
Police have been searching the river and elsewhere for missing man Rex Sim, 77.
Police are saying only that the body is being forensically examined and an identification process is under way.
Four days ago acting Detective Sergeant Terri Wilson said Mr Sim was last seen by work colleagues in Hamilton on June 10. He has not been seen since and his family had concerns for his safety.
