Police are at the scene of what they're calling a "sudden death" in Levin.
A body was found inside a property on Burn St and police won't say if anyone else was home at the time.
Ambulance services were first to the scene and called in police at around 9:11pm on Friday night.
An ambulance spokesperson wouldn't say whether or not the death is suspicious.
