A person is dead after their vehicle crashed into a power pole in Invercargill.
Kennington Roslyn Bush Rd is closed and diversions are in place while police and the serious crash unit are attending. Reports suggest the vehicle collided with the power pole.
Police have asked motorists to avoid the area.
