Husband and wife bloggers Lucas and Lisa Barber quit their jobs, sold their house and bought one way tickets to New Zealand.
They're native New Yorkers here as tourists and they are very happy campers too.
They have written an open letter to all Kiwis saying "we have been recipients of so much unsolicited kindness and generosity that our human interaction paradigms were spinning."
They believe the Maori influence and openness has opened their eyes and what's normal for Kiwis has been a culture shock for them.
They only intended to stay for one month but they had to change those plans. So what made them fall in love with this country?
