Signs of rust or re-paint, strange noises when driving just to name a few, as well as checking for proof of ownership.
But would you think to remove the windscreen?
One Kiwi discovered the hidden fault which came to light by chance and when she did, she was horrified.
Bernadette Graham was told her windscreen was in bad shape. It had been bogged, out of alignment and rusting away and the fitters were not prepared to put another windscreen in because it wouldn’t be safe or legal.
