Earlier this week we introduced you to Bernadette Graham from Christchurch.
She had bought a second-hand car but five years later found out, to her horror, it was a lemon. She came forward with her story in hopes others would learn from her mistake.
Ms Graham took her car to get a chip in the windscreen repaired only to discover it had been in a major accident, years earlier.
The side panels and roof had been replaced and the windscreen surround was so badly damaged it was not safe or legal to install a new one.
The cost would be $1200 and being on a widow's pension, it was not something Ms Graham could afford.
But the team from Turners Cars want to restore some faith in the used car industry and had a surprise in store for Ms Graham.
