Every Street residents weigh in on Bain's pay-out

It has been more than 20 years since the Bain family murders and today the Government revealed it will pay for David Bain's legal costs but will not be compensating him for his time in prison.

David Bain went to prison and when released, the conviction was quashed but there's no final verdict on who committed the crime.

Story went back to Every Street in Dunedin to ask what the locals made of the news from today.

Every Street is every street in New Zealand, it's a regular suburban street with a mixture of housing, a mixture of people from different backgrounds and possibly why the crimes were and still are, so shocking.
