When Story visited Ngaruawahia and found flowers in the public toilets, we wanted to know what kind of lovely person put them there to begin with.
We asked around and were led to Nola Colebourn.
She's Ngaruawahia's secret flower deliverer and collected the flowers from her garden.
She doesn't think it's a big deal or worth the fuss and there was more to the story than first thought.
Ms Colebourn in fact runs a team who cleans North Waikato's public bathrooms and decided to drop off little bundles of flowers to brighten the place for tourists.
But not everyone reacted kindly and some even left behind nasty messages.
