Patchy and 'pinto'-affected driveways across the country

Last week we were in Hawke's Bay with residents who had newly built homes but patchy looking driveways.

New Zealand prides itself on being a nation of problem solvers and inventers, and following our story, it turns out it is not just a problem confined to Napier but right across the country, the 'pinto'-affected driveways.

Neither the layers nor the concrete providers are taking responsibility and the buck is still being passed.

Story went back to Hawke's Bay to find out what your rights are as a consumer, and we also met up with a man from Tauranga who is trying to fix the problem with a water blaster and a bag of soda.
