Shots have been fired and a man has been arrested in the south Auckland suburb of Takanini on Tuesday morning.
Police were called to the incident on Tironui Rd just before 11am where a man had fired shots towards a commercial property.
A witness says someone turned up to the address, which they believe to be a gang pad, and started firing with a shotgun.
Police say the man was arrested without incident and no one is believed to be injured.
Another witness to the scene, Sam Burden, about ten police cars have arrived and cordoned off the area, and a police helicopter is flying overhead.
