You may remember the photograph taken by a father of his young daughter taking a bite out of a deer's beating heart after her first hunting kill.

It was a fairly confronting image but what is it about the photo that gets us worked up?

Are city slickers and urbanites who have never been hunting losing touch with our hunter-gatherer roots?

Are we being removed from the reality of where our food is coming from and would we be willing to hunt for our own dinners?

Story tempted a big-city family to ditch the WiFi, phones, laptops and iPads for a rifle instead and head into the bush.
