Computers, TVs and trolleys found dumped in Auckland waters

A Kelly Tarlton's-led dive has uncovered some of the shocking items Kiwis are dumping into the ocean.

Story went diving with Kelly Tarlton's near the site of its aquarium in Mission Bay and it didn't take long for the divers to find junk that shouldn’t be there.

Shopping trolleys, computer screens and TVs were among the items found on the sea floor.

Kelly Tarlton’s hopes by showing people the extraordinary amount of rubbish they found in their own backyard, it will make people more aware of what we’re doing to the ocean.

So much rubbish is thrown into the ocean, it's predicted there will be more plastic than fish by the year 2050.
