Cute calf caught by Christchurch cops

Canterbury Police apprehended an unusual suspect on a residential Christchurch street on Wednesday night - a young calf.

Police responded to reports of a four-legged, black and white offender wandering the streets of Phillipstown.

He was rounded up shortly afterward and detained in the back of a police patrol car before spending a night in the cells, but police say he wasn't too keen on the trim milk they had to offer him.
