A crash has blocked one of the South Island's main alpine crossings.
Police say a truck rolled on Lewis Pass Road, near Goings Creek Bridge, just after 6am on Thursday.
The driver was not injured but the road is blocked in both directions and no diversions are in place.
The Transport Agency's urging motorists to delay their journeys.
It's not yet known when the road may reopen.
