A man has been arrested and charged with murder after the death of a man at a residence in Wairoa overnight.
The 30-year-old man was found dead around 3am at an address in Tuai.
A 20-year-old man will appear in Hastings District Court on Monday charged with his murder.
Police have been speaking to witnesses and conducting scene examinations throughout the day.
No other information around the circumstances of the death has been released.
