Tom Walsh won the hearts of Kiwis at Rio, and now the shot put bronze medallist is back in the country and back into construction.
He won medals, earned prize money, attracted sponsors and kick-started what could be a very lucrative career.
But the athlete has swapped the glories of the Olympics for his day job on a building site in Christchurch.
