An elderly couple found dead at a remote Waikato property have been identified.
Maurice O'Donnell, 72, and Mona Waikoko Tuwhangai, 82, were found dead at their Kinohaku property on Friday night.
The body of wanted man Ross Bremner was also found at the property.
Mr Bremner had been on the run since allegedly stabbing his parents on Tuesday in Otorohanga. His mother was found dead in her home while his father remains in Waikato hospital.
Police are not sure if he knew the Kinohaku couple, whose devastated family gathered today to grieve their passing.
A neighbour described the pair as well-loved.
"A local family, quite a sporting family, they were very much involved in the community and she was a bright bubbly person."
