Jimmy Barnes recounts childhood horrors in new book

He's the working class boy who became a rock legend.

Jimmy Barnes has always had a tough exterior - the voice, booze, the women, his temper and now he has explained all of it in his new book Working Class Boy.

He's poured plenty of emotion into his hit songs over the years and even more so into his new book which details the horrors from his childhood.

The story of his early years and growing up in the slums of Glasgow makes for pretty raw reading and the musician admits he has spent a long time running from his past, which he's now coming to terms with.

Story sat down with the rocker to talk about abuse, hope and music.
