A person is trapped following a serious two vehicle crash in Dunedin.
The incident happened in St Leonards around 3:20pm and firefighters are still working to free the person. The Dunedin to Port Chalmers road is closed.
One person has been taken to hospital and others are being treated at the scene.

Traffic is being diverted to St Leonards Drive between Pukeko and Tui Streets. Police say drivers should expect delays.
