Warriena Wright family spokeswoman speaks after verdict

A spokesperson for Warriena Wright's family has spoken after an Australian court found Gable Tostee not guilty of killing Ms Wright who fell to her death from his 14th floor balcony.

"As you may appreciate, Warriena Wright's family are still coming to terms with the loss of their daughter and their sister. As well as enduring the anguish of being present here for this trial for the last two weeks," says the family's spokeswoman.

The pair met on the dating app Tinder and Mr Tostee was accused of driving Ms Wright to her death by threatening and intimidating her in the early hours of August 8, 2014.

A key piece of evidence was more than three hours of secretly recorded audio that Mr Tostee had made the night they met.

The trial lasted more than a week in Brisbane's Supreme Court with 22 people giving evidence.
