Dirty rivers and no tap water: What's the risk of disease in Kaikoura?

Water has been a big issue in Kaikoura. There is no tap water although emergency services have air-dropped plenty of bottled water in to keep them going.

But what happens next is the problem, because with dirty flooded rivers and no tap water comes the risk of disease.

Doctor Alistair Humphrey from the Canterbury District Health Board is the man in charge to assess the risk.
